Seattle metropolitan area

The Seattle metropolitan area is an urban area in the U.S. state of Washington. It is made of Seattle and places around Seattle, such as satellite cities. It has the three counties in Washington with the most people in them. These are King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties. It is part of the Puget Sound region. The United States Census Bureau calls the Seattle metropolitan area the Seattle–Tacoma–Bellevue, WA metropolitan statistical area. 4,018,762 live there as of 2020.[1] It is the 15th largest metropolitan statistical area (MSA) in the United States. Over half of the people in Washington live there.[2]
